Broadway’s latest jukebox musical, Once Upon a One More Time, is yet another updated version of Cinderella, this time set to “music performed and recorded by Britney Spears.” There’s fun to be had, including the “It’s Broadway, Bitch” merch on sale in the lobby for the eager to support a pop idol with well-publicized troubles. By the end, though, there’s one 2017 hit that’s unlikely to be a rallying cry: “Gimme More.”
